EXCEPT - the wonderful, amazing truth of the matter is - self does not die because of Jesus - self is found, released, made whole and human. Because of our Savior, we can become who we were originally designed to be. The broken, fallen self is slowly transformed by the power of the Spirit until it reflects the presence of Jesus within - Jesus - tenderly calling us to be all of who we are, changing us until that sibling relationship between us is seen ever more clearly (remember that he is our elder brother as well as our Savior??) YOU, dear Lauren, are coming more and more to reflect your truest, best-est self. That is the gift of grace. May you treasure who you are in Jesus, may grace continue to shape and form you. It is a pleasure to watch this wondrous process from afar.

Would u ever consider givin this post a different ending.Possibly, one that reflects death to self and Christ alive in us/u since God is love and love is life =)

Romans 6:8
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
