Not being mindful about your purchases allows you to buy things for reasons you are perhaps not being honest with yourself about or perhaps are not even aware of.

Another option is, for example, to pare down your closets, right? Then, say, you see a new jacket that you just love. Do you have a jacket you are willing to give up for this one? Does the one you have work just fine? Will it last another year? Everything you bring in requires getting rid of something else.

I feel the tug of minimalism, but, at least at this point in my life, going that route would take more effort than not. :D And right now, I need to conserve energy and pick my battles. That said, I am making small progress toward some goals of restructuring my space.

I often find that if I try to jump into something hardcore I tend to fail, so perhaps you might want to take steps before living with 75 things. :Dkxmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00203732248364434033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7785089965111855564.post-45412041746956548292010-11-06T02:18:35.098-04:002010-11-06T02:18:35.098-04:00I just gave a bag to Goodwill and I'm sure I c...I just gave a bag to Goodwill and I'm sure I could come up with another one!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7785089965111855564.post-83967103097416072112010-11-05T16:10:18.660-04:002010-11-05T16:10:18.660-04:00Haha I'm sure I could find at LEAST 10 things ...Haha I'm sure I could find at LEAST 10 things to donate.
