+ this week. +

things that have amazed me this week:

+ how beautiful the rain is when it hits pavement, at midnight.
+ the depth and intensity of old pain; how present it still is.
+ how badly i want a dog...something to love on.
+ shannon leith & how much i admire her & her photos
+ how little close friends actually know me
+ my shortcomings in every field of interest
+ my impatience
+ how difficult being 22 is
+ the lack of a mother
+ jealousy of girls that have mothers
+ how every doctor visit results in two more
+ how frequently i feel left out
+ my sudden ability to eat three meals a day this week
+ my aptitude to think, feel & act like a five year old
+ how much i love this picture

"Some people believe that they're the only ones that have a stirring in their hearts that they can't name. But not all hearts will fall apart, or come undone. So it's that stirring in our hearts that we can't name that keeps us all the same."
Feel better.

i love you. a lot.
even if the reality is that i don't know you that well at all.
i'm sure i'd love all those hidden parts about you, too.

hey ... worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere. :)
I lost my mother a few years ago so I know where you're coming from with the jealousy and anger. Just try to remember the good times and keep those around you that you can confide in.
Take a deep breath! Everything will be ok.

i love you. more than is in ableness to explain. and i hope that this gap between us will close soon because you can never have too many shoulders to lean on and hearts to cry to. maybe i don't know who you used to be or who you are in this moment, but i'm pretty sure i know the heart of you and i hope that your GORGEOUS heart gets better soon and that school ends hastily soon so you can regain life, real life again. you're so amazing lauren and i feel beyond blessed and lucky to know you, let alone be your friend. <3 - L
